Newborn photographers in Hoover AL offer a variety of styles for your newborn session. Typically you can choose from in-home sessions, studio sessions and outdoor sessions. I enjoy offering lifestyle sessions on-location and in my studio. You’ll receive light posing and direction for images that capture all of the sweet details of your baby without placing them into un-natural positions.
Whether you choose a studio or in-home session you will have access to the same amenities. My client wardrobe, a simple, Moses basket, white muslin wraps, a diaper cover and stretch wraps are available for all sessions.
Newborn Safety
Safety is my utmost priority for any session you choose. Along with staying up to date on all vaccinations the CDC encourages expectant and new parents to receive I will also stay up to date on the Covid19 vaccine. Whether in your home or mine wearing a mask will also be something that will be done to keep your baby and your family safe from possible germs.
The areas of my home you will walk through and spend time in are sanitized and cleaned thoroughly.
During your session I will ask that one parent stay with me at all times. If baby needs to be moved to a different space or location in the room I will ask that you move them. I will, also, take care not to touch baby any more than necessary.
Lifestyle newborn session
I enjoy offering lifestyle, newborn sessions in and around Hoover Alabama. Capturing your baby and your family in your home will provide you with memories that hold extra meaning.
This sweet family asked me to come to their home for a lifestyle newborn session in their nursery. The nursery was small and only offered one, small window for light. That was all that was needed for beautiful moments, however. Many times I am told “my house just doesn’t have enough light.” You really don’t need much.
Mama snuggles are at the top of my list during your session. After all, mom is likely the one who deemed these portraits an important memory to capture. A few portraits with dad are also a must. Then, of course, plenty of portraits of baby. In this nursery I was able to make use of a beautiful day bed and little mans crib.

Capturing your baby naturally, however is what I enjoy. In my studio I take the same, light posing approach as I would in your home. Studio session are great for clients who love the light and airy look but don’t have great light and/or light colored walls and linens in their home.
