Birmingham Botanical Gardens Fall Mini Session
The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite spots to offer seasonal mini sessions. There’s almost always something blooming among the many, beautiful photo spots the Gardens offers and gorgeous light is always plentiful.
Should I choose a mini session or a full photo session.
Mini Sessions are a great way to update your family photos or capture new images for holiday cards without the larger cost commitment of a full family photo session.
Full photo sessions, with Laura Cardan Photography, offer benefits that mini sessions don’t offer. With mini sessions your session takes place at a photographer chosen location, time is limited and you’ll receive a small selection (usually 20 or less) of images from which you can choose 10 of your favorites. There’s always an upgrade option if you just can’t decide. Black and white images are included.
Full photo sessions offer the following benefits.
- Wardrobe selections you may borrow from my client closet. These include dresses for moms and young girls along with neutral colored shirts for dad and young boys.
- Full session clients may choose their location and receive no less than 45 minutes of session time.
- Full sessions include 30 images of choice from a 50+ images.
- Full sessions include as much hand holding as you would like. You may have me shop for you online and even make hair and makeup appointments for you.
When deciding what option is better for your family here are some things to think about.
- How much of the planning would you like done for you? Full sessions offer planning services
- Do you have a large family and would like many groupings? A full session is best for large families
- Do you have a small family or are hoping just to update your family portrait or have a selection of new images for holiday cards? A mini session is great for small families or simply updating your family portraits
- Do you love all kinds of portraits and want to ensure you receive as many as possible? Full Sessions offer a larger selection of portraits from which you can choose your favorites.
- Are you watching your budget but don’t want to miss an important milestone. Mini Sessions are great for saving money and capturing milestones.
