Altadena Valley park is great for any size family and encourage for familes with children on the go as light is great everywhere. Pet’s may be included. Sessions here take start 1hour before sunset or 15 minutes after sunrise. This location is pet friendly.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens
The Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a great location for families who would like an earlier evening or later morning session time and love a more manicured look.
Sessions here can start 2-3 hours before sunset and around 7 am in the mornings when the BBG opens.
Pets are not allowed inside the gardens.
Spring and Summer at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens (April-August.)
Roses start to make their appearance early May.
Fall at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens (September-October-early November)
Roses are still in bloom early Fall.
Southside Baptist Church
This is a great location for a neutral, modern look and for families who want to add more color to their wardrobe selections. Sessions here start 1.5 hours before sunset. This location doesn’t change much throughout the year.
Sicard Hollow field in Liberty Park
This location is great any time of the year and is my chosen location for clients who want the outdoor/nature look November through March. It has a variety of different looks. Kids love the bridge and pets may be included.

Railroad Park
Railroad park is one of my favorite locations for beautiful light and lush greenery. It is dog friendly and offers plenty of room to spread out and have fun.
