Your baby’s first year is filled with many “firsts.” Among these “firsts”, the sitter stage (usually around 6 to 9 months) is one of the most joyful and photogenic phases. Babies are full of personality and have mastered smiling, sitting, holding their feet playfully and laying on their belly with confidence. That’s what makes the sitter session a must-have in your baby’s photo journey. In this post, you’ll enjoy these first’s from a 6 month cutie and learn more about this milestone session.
My light and bright photography studio in Vestavia Hills, Alabama is designed with simplicity in mind. When you book a 6-month baby photoshoot or milestone session, here’s what you can expect:
Milestone sessions typically last 20-30 minutes, giving us plenty of time to capture natural smiles, silly faces, and those heart-melting little moments. Family sessions typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour so we can, also, capture the family interactions and individual photos.
I proudly serve families throughout:
The best time to schedule a sitter milestone session is when your baby is sitting confidently — usually around 6 to 9 months — and before they’re crawling away too quickly.
I recommend booking in advance, especially for weekend and outdoor availability. If you’re planning ahead for a first birthday photoshoot or a cake smash session, we can coordinate those milestones too!
I have different options for a sitter milestone session depending on your wants and needs. Please check my pricing and package options here.
